- In the spaces between thoughts,
- A ghost in every breath I take,
- And every breath I’ve lost.
- The world feels hollow now,
- A shell of what we knew,
- Your laughter’s just a distant hum,
- And I’m here, stuck in the blue.
- I trace the lines we once walked,
- In the cracks of this broken ground,
- Hoping to find your shadow there,
- But all I find is the sound,
- Of a heart that beats too heavy,
- For a love that’s out of reach,
- And in this quiet, empty place,
- You’re the lesson life had to teach.
- The nights are long, the days too bright,
- Without the shade you cast,
- And I’m drowning in this hollow life,
- A prisoner to the past.
